            Jonathan Michael Trautmann

            Biografie

Born in Milwaukee, WI and raised in Minneapolis, MN. His parents (John/Marian) compromised on his name by putting his first initial in front of his official middle name and calling him J.Michael. An immediate class clown, he soaked up any attention he could get, even if it got him into trouble in school. In 1993 he was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and remains insulin dependent. In his Freshmen year of high school he was urged to try out for the school's production of Romeo and Juliet by his English teacher to focus his energy. He soon after played the title role and began acting, gaining much praise for his portrayal and depth. Throughout his time at Park Center Senior High School he performed regularly in the school's plays, including the lead role in the popular first time staging of The Yellow Boat. After graduation he attended the University of Arizona and was accepted as a BFA actor in the prestigious Arizona Repertory Theatre where he notably played the lead, Eugene Jerome in the Neil Simon trilogy of Brighton Beach Memoirs, Biloxi Blues and Broadway Bound. During his Sophomore year in college he was seen performing in an Improv Comedy Troupe and was asked to audition for his first film Earnie. Following graduation he furthered his acting career in Los Angeles and continues to act in film and television.
