            Matt Letscher

            Biografie

            Matt Letscher holds a career deeply-immersed in television work. He was born in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and attended college in Ann Arbor at the University of Michigan. His screen-career began in 1993 with an episode on "Saved by the Bell: The College Years" (1993). His highlight film appearance during the 1990s was in the 1998 Antonio Banderas action movie The Mask of Zorro (1998) playing the role of Captain Harrison Love. As the new century soon arrived, Matt found work in the television movie The Beach Boys: An American Family (2000) (TV) in 2000. In the following years, Matt made several television movie and episode appearances including the series "Providence" (1999), "Good Morning, Miami" (2002), "Minti criminale" (2005) and "The West Wing" (1999). Nearing the latter 2000s, Matt's small-screen work extended to appearances on "Boston Legal" (2004), "CSI: Miami" (2002), the comedic series "The New Adventures of Old Christine" (2006) and "Entourage" (2004). He made appearances on more dramatic-themed series such as "Brothers & Sisters" (2006) and "The Good Wife" (2009). Aside from his screen-work, Matt is good friends with fellow actor Jeff Daniels whose non-profit theatre company staged a world premiere of a play called "Sea of Fools" which Matt wrote and directed.
