            Janet Dulin Jones

            Biografie

            Miss Jones has written screenplays for various studios in Los Angeles, California, including Paramount, Sony, Disney and Twentieth Century Fox. Diane Keaton is starring in and producing with Miss Jones and Carolyn Barber, "Kicks," an original screenplay. Her original screenplay, "A Thousand Summers," the story of Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning, is being produced in London in the spring 2012. David Parfitt and Julia Taylor Stanley are producing with Jones. "Searching For The Green-Eyed Girl", her new thriller is set in London set in the world of Human Trafficking for director Philip Martin.

            Other screenplays include; "Map of the World", starring Sigourney Weaver and Julianne Moore, and "Custom of the Country", adapted from the novel by Edith Wharton. She recently finished "Freedom", which she is also producing with director, Mike Newell for a long form cable project.

            Her screenplay adaptation of Henry James's, "The Ambassadors" is being produced by Philippe Carcassonne and Julia Taylor Stanley. It will shoot in France and the U.K. in the fall of 2012.

            Her film "What if God Were the Sun," for Twentieth-Century Fox and Lifetime TV was nominated for a 2008 Emmy, Golden Globe and a SAG Award for the lead actress, Gena Rowlands. As writer-producer, she has written the pilot script for an original cable tv series, "Gramercy Park", for director Scott Winant and Executive Producer, Mike Newell.

            Her new play, "Even", is being prepared for its London 2012 premiere with director, Tamara Harvey in London. It is also being produced in Paris for January 2013 with director Jeremie Lippman. Miss Jones has also written "Looking at the Sky," an original screenplay based on the extraordinary life of Dr. Ian Zlotlow.

            Her play, " A Tale of Charles Dickens" is an adaptation by Janet Dulin Jones with Paul Lazarus from an original screenplay by Miss Jones. The play is being submitted to Chichester, The Globe and Young Vic.

            She was a Nicholl Award finalist for screenwriting from the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Science and is a member of the WGA, west, serves on the board of the Young Filmmaker's Academy and is a writer-in-residence for The Antaeus Theatre Company in Los Angeles. She has guest lectured and run workshops for; The Celtic Media Festival in Galway, Ireland, The Old Vic writers program in conjunction with Poisson Rouge Pictures, the Boston University's Writer's Pitch Program in Los Angeles, California State University Long Beach and California State University Fullerton.

            In addition to her writing and producing, Janet and John Stirling founded Storyteller Films, a film equity group with offices in Los Angeles and the U.K.
