            Marlowe Peyton


            Marlowe was born in Glendale, CA, she started her acting career at the age of four in the feature film "The Back Up Plan". Since then, she has continued her work on both large and small screen. Marlowe just filmed the role of Gracie on "New Girl" with Zooey Deschanel, and a pilot presentation called "Annie Takes Off" directed by Perry Blake. Earlier this year Marlowe got the chance to work on an incredible pilot called "Applebaum" for CBS. She played series regular character Sadie Wyeth, it starred Rachelle Lefevre (Juliet Applebaum) and Rhys Coiro (Peter Wyeth), the project is directed/produced by Christopher Columbus. Disney's "Santa Paws 2- The Adventure of the Santa Pups" comes out on November 20th, Marlowe voices and sings the character "Jingle". Other recent roles include that of foster child Lisa in the feature film "The Lost Medallion" starring Sammi Hanratty and Billy Unger and Marlowe also has a starring role in the award winning short film "How To Get To Candybar" directed by Broadway director Matt August. Her television credits include her appearance as Lucy on the ABC show "The Middle" playing the daughter of Molly Shannon, as well as roles in "How I Met Your Mother", "United States of Tara", "Parenthood" and more.

            In addition to her acting career, she also is a talented singer - performing the national anthem in front of an audience of thousands for the starting ceremony of the final leg of the Amgen Tour of California and performed at the 2012 STAR Eco Center Earth Day event along side many Disney Stars.

            Her career continues to evolve with fantastic opportunities and projects, and she was honored with CARE (Child Actor Recognition Event) Awards in both 2010 and 2011 and has just been nominated for a 2012 Young Artist Award for her performance of Lucy on "The Middle"

            Marlowe and her sister actress Merit Leighton are both green advocates and have created "The Plastic Patrol", which is dedicated to kids teaching and empowering other kids to help reduce pollution of the oceans. Both sisters were featured in "Young Icons" for their work in founding The Plastic Patrol.
