            Jon Mack

Jon Mack is a Polish American actress and musician, who first came to national attention through her performance of Ava Gardner in the Emmy Award-winning biopic Introducing Dorothy Dandridge starring Halle Berry. Mack plays Connie, a soccer mom hoping to score in the 2012 Playing the Field and she also may been seen in the soon-to-be-released Straight A's.

A life-long fan of horror, Science Fiction and thrillers, Mack had the opportunity to become part of one of her favorite horror franchises through her turn as Jane in Saw VI. Comparing Saw V's pendulum trap to Edgar Allan Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher," the young actress was thrilled to have the chance to check-out some of the Saw VI traps first-hand. As for what it was like to sit next to Jigsaw, the Saw puppet in hair and make-up?: "Creepy." Mack has starred in a number of thriller television films including Mandrake, Super Tanker and Mongolian Death Worm. Her Syfy channel releases include Mega Cyclone and Camel Spiders.

Mack is also the lead singer of Auradrone, an alternative/post-modern rock band inspired by groups as diverse as Nine Inch Nails, Massive Attack, Underworld, Curve and Blondie. The name, combining "aura," in the sense of the human energy field, and "drone," referencing a continuous tone, reflects the group's interest in exploring the idea of sympathetic resonance. Mack views her music career as a compliment to her work as an actor, music's mutable aspect allows a song to continue to evolve with each performance, just as an acting requires being present in the moment.

Auradrone's sophomore album Bleeding Edge was released in fall 2011 and features compositions exploring themes of strength and self reliance with a raw intensity. Auradrone previewed songs from the new album during the group's debut performance at the 2011 Exit Fest, Serbia's four-day annual music festival held in the 18th century Petrovaradin Fortress of Novi Sad. In March 2009, Auradrone released its first album Whitelite Britelite, as well as a remix Whitelite Britelite: Rehabilitated two months later.
